If you have been following our blog, you may recall that my colleague, Charles Mathis, and I have been intrigued by insurance companies getting approval from the FAA to use drones for property evaluations, and we have posted about them here.

Charles’ post gave us the particular parameters that the FAA approved earlier this year for Erie Insurance Company. Well, just a few short months later, drones debates are trending in the insurance industry. The use of drones in general is very interesting and their use with insurance appears to have intrigued so many that A.M. Best is promoting a free webinar:

Unfortunately, the regulatory environment has not kept pace with the technology when it comes to use of drones. A panel of experts from the legal and insurance professions will explore what the regulatory concerns are and how they are being addressed in both the courts and the insurance industry.
