On Wednesday, June 3rd, public adjusters will have a unique opportunity to get together with friends and colleagues on a festive evening. The event will benefit Public Adjusters for the Insuring Public – a political committee dedicated to supporting legislators who understand and care about policyholder issues.
We couldn’t be happier that this gathering of public adjusters is being hosted by Merlin Law Group at their beautiful Tampa office. It’s a great opportunity and we hope everyone who holds a public adjuster license in Florida joins us. Ideally, every public adjuster would take advantage of the educational opportunities and valuable resources FAPIA offers its members. But you don’t have to be a member to participate. In fact, if you are not a FAPIA member, it is even more important that you join us next week so you can collect important resource materials you will need to help protect your business and the industry in the coming year.
FAPIA President Darryl Davis said next Wednesday’s meeting is a call to action for public adjusters:
We need to learn, as an industry, how we can each play an important role in the legislative process through the FAPIA AMBASSADOR Program. This is a grass roots effort in the fight against anti-consumer legislation. You can make a difference and it starts on the evening of June 3rd at 5:30 p.m. I urge you to register today and join us there.
For a minimal donation of as little as $25.00 to the political committee you will be treated to a festive evening among friends, you will be given valuable information you need for your business while you enjoy delicious appetizers and drinks. You will also be treated to the amazing views of Tampa Bay from the Merlin Law Group’s scenic offices. How can you go wrong?
We hope to see you next week. Register today and save the date in your calendar for Wednesday, June 3rd, at 5:30 p.m. at Merlin Law Group, 777 S. Harbour Island Boulevard, Suite 950, Tampa, Florida.
Public adjusters must come together to play a critical role in preserving, promoting, and protecting the industry. Now is the time. The truth is its imperative for each public adjuster to remain engaged in the process to avoid bad legislation like the 48-hour ban on solicitation and the Citizens fee ban/cap. You can help make a difference.
NOTE: Please register TODAY so we have a good headcount. We’ll see you in Tampa next week!
