Although we came up a bit short in 2014, I am confident that we will come out on top this time with your help! My announcement is pasted below.

I have some exciting news from the Shaw family: this morning, I announced my candidacy for State House in District 61.
In 2014, I was fortunate to have you at my side in a very close election.We didn’t get the result we were hoping for, but Representative Narain has served our district well.
I had no intention of challenging Ed this year.He’s been a great advocate for our district. Now that he’s running for State Senate, many of our community leaders have approached me to run.
Now is the time to continue our fight for Florida families. We’re making progress, but we’re still hurting for jobs we can raise our families on, teachers still don’t have all the tools they need to prepare our children to succeed, and our kids still face danger on our streets just because of the color of their skin.
We can keep moving forward, but I need your help.
