Next month the National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA) will head to Farmington, Pennsylvania for its annual meeting.

From June 18th through the 21st, NAPIA will host its annual meeting at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort & Spa. Several members of Merlin Law Group, myself included, will attend.

For those who don’t know, NAPIA is an association of “experts in the profession of public insurance adjusting who have joined together for the express purpose of professional education, obtaining certification and promoting a rigid code of professional conduct and ethics.” The annual meeting is a four day event which offers continuing education sessions for adjusters and attorneys. CE and CLE credits are available for 18 states.

During this meeting, our firm’s founder and President, Chip Merlin, will lecture at a class entitled: Use of Experts: What to Watch For, How to Vet Them and How to Marginalize Insurance Company Experts. Apart from the classes, there are several fun events – including a golf outing and a sporting clays outing.

We here at Merlin Law Group encourage all to attend. It’s a great opportunity to learn and to meet others in the industry. If you need any additional information please visit: www.napia.com.
