As a public insurance adjuster, you no doubt maintain the following points in your goals list:

  • GOAL 1: Get your clients promptly paid.
  • GOAL 2: Get your clients fully paid.

If the carrier insists on choosing to break the rules and prevent the above goals, we would encourage you to maintain the following perspective:

  • GOAL 3: What’s the best claim preparation to setup my client to succeed when I recommend moving on to a policyholder attorney?

Although documenting losses with pictures is nothing new, recent experiences give us new ideas to pass along to help meet Goals 1, 2 and 3.

Again, nothing new about reading and understanding the policy for your property damage losses. By constantly studying our craft, though, we sometimes learn from hearing similar points from new perspectives.

PERESEVERE

We may spend the biggest part of the discussion addressing how Public Adjusters persevere prosecuting policyholder claims. While not a new topic, come share to help make us all better.
