Finding Claims Practice Evidence on the Internet

Google and other internet search engines transform and open up areas of discovery involving insurance companies. An example is an internet advertisement of a Safeco claims adjuster, Sandra Parker, which we uncovered in a simple internet search.

The caption to a video of of Sandra Parker indicated the following:

Doing the right thing came naturally to Sandy Parker, Safeco Insurance claims adjuster. She was one of three role models featured in videos during an all-day managers meeting for the Seattle-based insurance company. The videos not only shared tangible examples of the risk analysis and judgement calls managers were being asked to emulate, but also proof points that employees who "Take Charge" would be recognized and rewarded.

Ms. Parker’s statement that she adjusts claims as if it were “her own house” is an important admission. I suggest that attorneys seeking information about insurance companies include searches on the internet.
